Meet Laura

Laura Lane is the founder and managing director of Greater Good.

Laura is passionate about bringing mental health to the forefront and in advocating for services that have a wider societal impact.

Laura designs psycho-educational initiatives that emphasize the interdependence between personal, relational and organizational factors in mental health. Her programs aim to address these factors holistically and to fully recognize their role in our psychological health and well-being.

Laura’s unique blend of professional and academic experience guides her approach at Greater Good. She spent over two-decades in the corporate sector, leading business growth in the United States, Europe and Latin America. She then went on to train as a psychologist, focusing her research and education on compassion-based interventions, positive aging and trauma informed practices.

Laura holds a BA in Music and Psychology from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from Edgewood College, and an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London. She is currently pursuing post-graduate research studies in health and social work at the University of Hertfordshire.

Laura holds a certificate in Applied Compassion Training from Stanford Medicine’s CCARE program, a certificate in Compassion Cultivation Training from Stanford, and is a certified SPARK™ Resilience Program Facilitator.  She is also an EIA Accredited Coaching Practitioner through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
